Hello Dave, i see that You made some beautifull
birdpictures !! They'r all very good in colour and position! My cumputer broke down, so i was a while away from usefilm. My new bought camera ( Canon eos 400d with 300 mm lens) is a welcome gain to my equipment. Regards....Taco.

Dave, I was raised in western Kansas and the Western Meadowlark is the Kansas state bird so this photo brings back many pleasant memories. The Meadowlark is a ground nesting bird. When walking in the prairie you often stumble on a nest. The bird always flaps away from its nest as if it is injured or has a broken wing. It keeps stoping trying to entice you to chase after it. Once you are a few feet away it is almost impossible to find the nest it is so well hidden in the grass. What an excellent photo. Thanks for sharing. Del.
