Yes i have been playing around with leaving certain areas totally dark to create even more of a mood when the sky dictates it.

Wow, Tim, that's a very nice acknowledgement. Thanks! And this is a beautiful panorama. I would probably have tried to lighten up those heavy shadows, but on second thoughts they go very well with that lowering sky... I'm so glad you enjoy panoramas!
