Another great shot Tim. Tried the website listed in your reply to Nia, to have a look at your paintings, but couldn't get through???? Any ideas?? I have constant problems with my horizons, but in this case is it not because of the outline of the opposite shore? Hard to tell.

thank you Tim and when i'll get the material needed to send pictures through the web (not too much money right now to buy it) i'll send you some of my work (photos and paintings) I am a beginner in both. I saw your paintings and i like your work very much(making me feel a real beginner).

Wonderful outdoor beauty nature image, the almost fill-frame foreground leaving the right side for other elements to balance the composition, superb colourful scene.Saeed

If leaning into the wind and getting sloping horizons is stress then send me some over here Tim. I'd be happy to swap with some of mine.
Magnificent image as always from that beautiful part of the world.

Hi Nia,
This is what I do...I am a painter (artist) and these photos often become subjects for my paintings. this image in fact has become a painting just 2 days ago.
If you would like to use it be my guest, Thank You for asking. I would love to see what you are painting some time if you would like to send me an image.
This is my web site for my paintings if you would like to see:

Cheers, Tim

Hi Roger,
yes I saturate the colors on images that are going to be paintings.....this one has become just that, in fact. As a painting you need to have a good portion of color to make it interesting. My photos give me a chance to work that sort of thing out ahead of time...a real time saver.

The feeling that the colours are somehow larger than life detracts a wee bit from the impact of this beautiful shot, for me. If you turn it into one of your wonderful paintings, then I expect it might get toned down just a little. Of course, Usefilm is the wrong place to make remarks about over-saturated colours... Everyone else seems to love them.

HI CHRIS ...YES THE LEANING HORIZON..... oppps caps lock was on....most of my life leans a little, so i though it was a good metaphor in retrospect.
