Well you did it here Anson, it's simply the choice of aperture. You got great focus on the flower, the stamen and the delicate petals are perfectly captured, and the blur in the background is good. Beautifully done!

This little poppy has very "filmlike" delicate petals, Eli, which have lately been taking a beating in some very strong winds. Caught this one before it was destroyed. Thanks. Anson

Wild and fragile poppy!!!Though I go for the coloured ones, I like this one for its innocent face!Sharp in petals with pleasant details and a lovely background,soft blurr that is my favourite.
