A lark to try something "concentric", and glad you like this one too, Mary. Anson

Good to know you are back with the camera, Annemette. And thanks for the comment. This was just a little "goofing off" which is fun sometimes. All my best. Anson

What a special idea! Some time home pays off I see:-) I thought it was a candle at first, but it is a beautiful orchid! I like the tones.
Best wishes
Annemette

Coming from an accomplished floral photographer such as you, Jim, that is a real compliment. Thanks for visiting and commenting. Anson

This is so creative - one of the best shots of this type I've seen. The colors are most unusual. Nice work indeed.

Thanks for that image, James. That bar glass has to be the most coarse diffusion filter I have ever seen! Certainly would turn almost anything into an "abstract". I look forward to your "concentricity" effort. Anson

I have a series of shots done through a bar glass. Here is the first shot of the first segment of that series (I've posted a total of I think six photographs):

http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1271139

This work was inspired by some great work that Philip Minnis did here several months ago for the Glass project (using a plate with a similar texture).

I'll be posting a contribution to the Concentricity project later this week, I should think.

A week attempt for the "Concentricity" project, James. The flower is a phaleonopsis orchid, just in case its not sharp enough. Thanks for the comment. Regards. Anson

A very unusual perspective on a flower.

You are too kind, Minoo. This is a little playing around on a long indoor day here. Thanks for the nice comment. I really like your rose photo. Anson
