Many thanks Rebecca for your comments. The bag and why it was there remains an unsolved mystery. It was especially intriguing as the bag contained some personal effects and a keepsake. It just seemed so strange and had me wondering what her story was, if any. Many thanks again, Anthony.

A powerful image Anthony! You picked a good angle for the shot as well. As Rebecca and Dave have already indicated, it is the kind of image where when viewed, our imaginations can tend to get carried away. Even though this is most likely just a discarded everyday object. We tend to read much more into it. Andre

A million different thoughts spring to my mind when I look at this image Anthony. Where is this girl? To discard her handbag on the roadside so carelessley makes you question if it was a choice she made, or one that was made for her. What happened to make her want to discard her identity and slip away as someone with no history, no posessions? Or were these items lying on the side of the road, on a stormy day, the result of someone ELSE making that decision for her? Has she met with foul play? HMMMM the mind boggles?!!! Great mood to this simple image, the red bag really draws the eye. Excellent vision.\ cheers, Bek
