Hello, Biljana. He is fine for the time being as he has about one week's worth of food left. We are still trying different types of food which he refuses to eat. So every other can is a can of his precious favorite. Thanks so much for asking!

No; we are the spitting image of each other. Can you imagine how a girl feels about having a beard and being bald?

AJ Miller AJ Miller   {K:49168} 4/7/2007
Well, I've been reading in the news this week about non-identical twins...

Obviously the two of us. My sister looks just like me including the beard. Why do you ask?

Pictures of you, herself, or the two of you?

AJ -- It is either one cat, one cat twice, two cats once or two cats. This is part of the plan that was hatched by my evil twin sister who stole my USEFILM password; she sometimes posts pictures on my behalf.
--Best to you, Jan

I can only see one cat. Ah yes, it's still early...

Annemette -- Thanks so much for your comments.
The filter is NOT an optical filter; it is a software plug-in filter and is done after the fact. The software filter has adjustments as to how the effect is applied.

Very cute- nice almost reptileeyes. I have a thing for black animals, and cats are no exception:-)
I thought this was made using doubleexposure, but you did it with a filter, I see. Incredible all the gear one can get for a camera!
Take care and have fun!:-)

Meg -- Sure, blame it on Nessa -- she is too woozy to defend herself!
I wonder if Socks and Roland could be more than kindred spirits? Maybe fraternal spirits? Every time Roland gets excited he mews in a clipped Lancashire accent. After all he is a rescue cat and we have no idea if he stepped off the boat before coming to live with us. Hmmm. Hello back to Socks from Roland.
--Best to you, Jan

It's all Nessa's fault.....too much of that Whisky splashing about ~~Grin~~

My rescue cat Socks swears this is her lost cousin, she won't say what they were doing when they got lost but using my Psychic powers I see boats and planes involved.
Anyway she says to tell him she's doing fine and finding enough mischief for the both of them....or is that all three...

Srna -- I love people and furry animals that do not bite. Roland is double trouble and he demands much attention. But he does not bite.
Thanks!

Michele -- Feel free to hop on a thread anytime!!!
Hurricanes and all forms of big storm don't sit well with me either! Growing up in Wisconsin I ducked a few tornadoes in my time and I respect Mother Nature.

Onie -- Thanks for looking (twice) at Roland(1) and Roland(2). I had to laugh out loud at the image you created for me of staring at Roland and seeing the tip of his tail. That brought to mind the one and only opening in the back that would give me such a view and that just is NOT going to happen!!! :) :) Someday I might take his picture from that angle and see if I look through there if I see his eyes!
--Best to you, Jan

Michele -- No April Fools on this; the filter is for real. There are optical filters that do this but this one is a software filter that is provided within PhotoImpact, a photo-editing package that I use in addition to Photoshop.
Thanks for your great comments.
--Best to you, Jan
PS -- I did and I saw some of the back and forth on it here and elsewhere. Looks like all of our friends are OK.

Thanks, Marlyce. Not a new toy; the multi-vision filter is a software filter that I have had for some time. I do love new toys, though. After looking at some of your recent great macro work I am tempted to get some macro tubes and possibly a macro lens. No birds & bees for me, though. But I do love to do close-ups.
Roland is just an ordinary rescue cat of unknown origin but he might have "whatever" in his family background. He won't talk about his life prior to his rescue.

Thanks so much for the up-date Onie ...CNN just scares me and I do worry a lot ! I was afraid you didn't have power if it was real bad, that's why I ask Jan ...! Thank God You're All A-OK 'Mate' !!!

~~GRIN~~ Jan... That intense stare cats get, is truly hair raising... A feeling that, if you look into their eyes long enough, you would see the tip of their tail... from the inside... :)))

Cool effect Jan, two Rolands would be twice as much poltergiest one could cope with LOL looking at those peepers... Will post one of our Madam Attack Cat soon maybe...:)))

Extra nice Purrrrfection Sir...:))

Onie...

answering Michelle here as Q here, sorry Jan...:)

Michele...:) You are a love for worrying... The earthquake was 10 km underground near Solomon Islands... which is just east of Papua New Guinea to our immediate north...

All ok here... Aniko is approx. 3 hrs south of us... Liz approx. 8 hrs north... None of us are along the coast... Areas that may have been affected plus travelling time of waves, if any etc., the entire east coast which is approx the same, or longer than US east coast... Last report in areas that were the first to expect any abnormalities, was all ok... Beaches in immediate coastal have been closed for obvious reasons, and low lying coastal areas in those regions also evacuated just in case... Totally agreee with better safe than sorry...

We have had no Urgent News Breaks, so all bades OK...

Thanks heaps for your caring heart... Hugs To You by the truck full:)))

Onie...

Cool multi-vision filter Jan-- Is this for real or are you kidding me again ? It is a very cool image whatever the reason ...roland is Top Cat today
the eyes in the left side look like the ghost or poltergeist IMO --7/7 for originality and cleverness !

Best Wishes,
Michele~
PS
Did you hear about a tsunami in Austraila hit about an hr. ago ? 8.1 sounds bad- where do our friends live ??? Onie, Aniko, Liz ???????
