About A straight shot with the minimum manipulation in PS: Uncropped with a little tweaking of contrast, brightness and sharpening.

Played with the skeletons of some gooseberries - placed it on a sheet of fancy wrapping paper and used the normal room lighting.

I tried here to create a fusion between the organic and the artificial by playing with camera angles and shallow DoF.

Thanks to all my friends visiting and commenting. Whish I had more time - will visit you all in time!

Great results, excellent in-camera work, Joggie. These gooseberries look like the same "chinese lanterns" that I shot back in the fall out here in the desert. Very interesting macro subjects.

Best wishes,
Dave

~~GRIN~~ Joggie, from magic landscapes to soulful portraiture, be it human, animal, reptile, insect, flora... you give us a visual world, plus, written informative knowledge of the same to learn & enjoy...:)

Now this, a gooseberry... It looks like the motherboard of an alien computer giving birth to a new life.. :))) How's that for imagination... lol, but Joggie that is what I see... Brilliant electronics creating a powerful discharge of light that envelops a skeletal being...:)

Extraordinary Sir...:)

Another impressive abstract macro Joggie, I like this one even more. Super colours, great contrast between the gooseberry skeleton and the lights, It works very well.
