About	my last post from Antelope Canyon (I'll surely post some more in the future but I have to go ahead with my travel's pictures). Do you see the lion's head in the right part of the picture. It's appear to me when I look at the picture, but not when I made the photography, even the ray of light add an eye to the head :) Next stop horseshoe bend.

I've seen numerous renditions of these slot canyons over the years, but yours really got to me. When I was a kid I lived in Page... almost from the beginning when they scraped off the top of the mesa. It was literally like living on the old west frontier. For a child it was a gift from God. All those glorious cliffs to climb on and sand dunes to play in. My Dad took me to this place for the first time in 1958. It was like another world. For the next couple of years he would show friends down to this place so they could make their photographs. It was a challenge because of both the light and the water. We had to be careful of flash floods, and it seemed as though the light was always changing. I learned some new interesting words from photographers as they tried to keep up with the light. Your interpretation is the best I've seen. I'm sure that using a very wide angle lens helped some, but your caught it right before you released the shutter. Well done.

Truely amazing!
It took me awhile to see the lion's head because I kept being distracted by the tiny face to the left , high up near the small beam of light.

thank is really sexy ... i thought it was a shutter delay with water !! then i realized you cant floating on the water at this lever !! then it took me another 3 min to understand that was light !! :) really nice photo i love the tones ... sun light is the best light in the world !! :)

It's a 'cathedral', and the sort of place the park service could rent out for receptions and conferences and such. Be nice if it were kept empty like this, however. That's really capturing that scene. It's a brilliant photo.
