thanks a lot Dave for all this great recommandations. In fact in my printed pic, I clone the wire :)) but forget ot do it for the posted one. Your recommandation for the mailbox is nice, probably for next fall... For the fence, there's the road just in front of this house, and I don't want it in the frame, so I don't have any choice. Thanks again Dave, I take notes.

Very nice photo, Jacques. It is properly exposed and I love how you put the beautiful tree as the dominant subject in the photo.Love the blue house, too.
And thanks for paying me a visit, Jacques. You certainly have a very impressive portfolio.

This is a great picture of an interesting house. I like it much more than the solarized version. The thumbnail version drew me to open up the full-size version, which indicates the "appeal" for me.
There are two things that disappoint once the full-size version is opened. One of them easily fixed, the other not.
The electric wire off to the left of the house could easily be taken out using a clone tool. That's an easy fix.
The other distraction is the modern mail box in the front yard. You have no control over its presence excpet to remove it. It would be difficult but probably not impossible. It would require a lot of time in getting it just right, especially in that it crosses or sits in front of a window frame. Recognizing that before you took the picture, with an idea that you needed to ixnay the box, you could have slightly changed your angle so that the box was only in front of the rock face of the house. Then it would be a little easier to remove later.
And my preference would be to not have cropped the bottom half of the fence out. But then I don't know if there was something there you needed to eliminate.
Over all, again, this is a nice picture with good colors. I love the washed out blue of the house together with the yellow of autumn.
Best wishes, Dave

This is a page from a storybook Jacques. If not for the modern mailbox this could have been shot decades ago. Very nice job. Susie

Great match.... colours go great together. If you remove the postal box and air conditioner it could be right out of the early 1900's :) Looks like a beautiful place. Take care my friend. Chris
