Doyle - At least you did not ask me to fold it five times and put it where the Moon don't shine. :) --Regards, Jan

Print it. Put it on cardboard . . . cut it out. Would make a unique puzzle . . . and might fit together in a unique NEW way!! LoL!

Thanks, Dave. This one was an effort to rehabilitate the original picture which I did not think had much visual impact. I think the jury is out with many as to whether or not filters like this one should be used at all. From time to time I will stoop down low and employ them. :) --Best to you, Jan

A very cool abstract. Had me going there for a moment. (which I guess is good). Then I read where it was filtered. I still like it, very very interesting and glad you described what the original shot was, too.
Best to you, Dave

Without your "about" I wouldn't have understood what exactly it was, thought only of a road sided by snow. But you gave the shot a new dimension treating it as an abstract! Great idea! Gabriela

Robert -- Thanks so much for the feedback. As you know there are many who dislike effects filters and many (myself included) that use them. They can be overdone and overused but I did like the results this one provided. --Best to you, Jan

Roger -- Thanks for commenting and I understand perfectly. There are multiple schools of thought on effects filters and I am in the middle. I try them and find the results pleasing but try not to use them too often. I still think photo-art is a valid medium but do see it overused. Of course that does not apply to me!!! --Best to you, Jan

Great *goofing* Jan... :) Quite sure if this was a jigsaw puzzle I'd be goofy for sure...:)
Certainly makes an interesting abstract, especially like the grass edge just breaking the rythm of things...:)
Nice work Sir...:)

Thanks, Leo. Today is a holiday here in the US so I spent a little time walking around. My wife went to her job and I stayed home and goofed around. --Regards, Jan

Annemette -- Thanks for your comment. It is a straight downward shot of snowy ground divided by a red stone sidewalk divider. The stone divider is raised above the ground surface and slightly rises above the snow. --Best to you, Jan

A very intriguing image, Jan. I don´t know exactly what it is, but the snowy pattern broken by the brown line is very appealing. Good work. Best wishes Annemette
