Thanks Doyle, sorry for the delay in replying. The softness comes from the image been ran thru a noise remover at which makes the image soft[just changed the settings and getting better results] Great ideas expressed though but my BIGGEST problem is my laziness in learning PS,I have excellent tutorials but can`t focus enough to learn it.The original image is sharp but noisy. Great job on the message board. Take care Robbie

A good capture Robert. I see the comments preceeding mine mention the softness of the image so I'll not bother to mention that. I'm wondering though, if you considered isolating the eyes and applying a slight unsharp mask to them. In my experience getting a sharp focal clarity on the eyes makes the shot. Besides . . . his eyes are cetainly the star of this composition!!

Of course you may offer STRONG critique Joe,you are just calling it as you see it.I don`t find it a problem when constructive critique is given,I did run it thru a noise remover. Thanks for viewing and taking the time to critique, appreciated very much. Have a great day. Robbie 'not up to you normal very high standards' You were referring to me? WOWW!Thanks!!!

Excellent capture Robbie, very appropriate title. One point of critique if I may, this one and the next one seem to be just a tad soft with some noise on the wing feathers, not up to you normal very high standards. Anyways a great shot, one I would be proud of.
Have a great day, Joe
