Wow - glad I clicked on the thumbnail, which I thought looked unpromising! Foolish creature I am. This captures perfectly that feeling when you come out of the darkness & finally see the way forward. I also like the really dark left side with the trees barely showing. H:)

Hi Ed...and welcome to Usefilm *smile* Very interesting and unusual image...i like it. The only thing i find that you could do to improve this image is to crop the left side.....you dont need all that dark empty space there and i thing it strengthens the image with it gone.
Would like to see a crop and see how it looks. Keep posting...look forward to seeing more of your work... *smile* Maggie

This is really evocative and wonderfully lit. Did you do much post-processing? The shadows in the forest are just visible on my monitor.
