Hi Muzongo,
I've got a CRT too and black is detailless. Sorry:(
Concerning the crop I would have cut more of the left part.
Keep it up :)

Wow! What a stunner; I like the original so much more! And I can see all the detail in the hair, too!.
By the way, I am using a hign-end plasma screen today with MS Vista O/S and high end video card.

Thanks for the feedback Jan. I'm still worried about all of you seeing the photo so dark. I swear I can see a detailed pic on my screen! lol... well... I have attached the original photo as it came out from my camera. The tight crop's intention is to stand out the model's beautiful eyes and to give a movie-like kind of shot. Thanks again for your comments!

Beautiful subject and well taken but I have to agree with Paul about the blacks (hair) and the crop. The crop is bit too extreme for me but despite any of these minor points the subjects stunning beauty (those eyes!) saves the day and you did pretty good, too. :) :)

I'm looking at it on a CRT in a dark room, and there's no detail.

I wanted to say I'm really enjoying your work!

I took a full head shot in the beginning, but I felt like this crop would make the shot a little more intimate. About the blacks I was affraid this would happen.... I believe I see the details perfectly in my plasma monitor... Thanks for the feedback!

I'm not sure. I think square would have been ok, but this is a little TOO horizontal for me. Still pretty, though.

I think the blacks have been crushed too much, removing all detail from her hair.

I like the contrast of the model against the light background and you captured her eyes beautifuly. However, I find the crop of the top of her head to be disturbing. I keep wanting to see her whole head.
