So glad you were able to catch this beauty, Ian. No chance for us way up north.

Gidday John.
This doesn't add to the list of water shots I'm afraid.
I thought everyone would realise it's a car bonnet. :)

I gotta tell ya the water is my car hood! Do I have to confess this to everyone else in the world?
Still, more flawed hoaxes are needed it seems. I thought every one would get it.
It needs the shadow of a car radio aerial to complete it.
A visual punch line.

Wonderful... the best thing about this is the reflection. I do so envy you the night and chance. The second best thing about this is the fact Roj did not get a shot... kekekeke

I am sooooo jealous. I had no good oportunity. Not certain but there are damn few photos of a comet with a reflection off water, you may be unique or at least fairly unique (to mangle a definition)
Hmmm, a comet? brings new meaning to "crash point"
Cheers

Stunning shot of Comet McNaught, incredible tail on that thing. Unfortunately viewing in the northern hemisphere was nowhere near as good.
