Thanks Michele, very kind of you to say, but I am still a newbie! When I can roll out good images on a more consistent basis, I might drop that word from my profile. :)

Thanks for the visit, I'm glad you came back for a look! Since I have some time today, I'm off to see what goodies you have.

Take care...Robin

Wonderful effect- to see clearly beyond the blurred branches. I'm really enjoying seeing the way this captures things!

Room with a view? Yeah . . . a view of the snow which is why you FROZE to death!! This lensbaby makes me dizzy! How about a shot of people with it in a crowded nightclub titled "Man, The 60s Was Good To You!" LoL!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

And another one. I might go insane before I finish my practice runs.

Robin - Just knocked off a quick one and posted it. I decided to widen the sweet spot considerably on this one and used f/16.
Takes a while to get control over this little puppy. I see a lot of practice in my future.

Thanks Jan...there is alot more detail, surprised me too. You're right about no communication between lens and camera...and about the third arm! Takes some getting used to, but well worth the effort I think.
Looking forward to your firsts, have fun!

Take care...Robin

Robin -- I am really like your results on this one! I see potential for things that I have in mind from what you have here. The sweet spot has a lot more detail than I would have expected and I like how you have blur point set for the foreground. I can't wait until this weekend to start shooting with mine.
I did notice that on my Rebel XT I will have to use manual exposure mode as there is no feedback to the camera in AV mode so it assumes F/0. I see no way to manually tell the XT what the selected aperture on the LB is.
I am very encouraged by the quality of the results you have here. Now if I just had a third arm to focus the LB with I will be all set.
--Best to you, Jan

Thanks Mel...On the way home from my son's house I asked Steve to stop by the barn, never even got out of the truck to shoot (it was cold!)...couldn't wait to get home and see the results, I was pleasantly surprised!

Sending you one via "e"...need your opinion!

Hugs...Robin

Hi Dave...in a nutshell, yes, a Lensbaby blurs the edges. Just got it and I'm SLOWLY learning how to use it!

About 50 miles northwest of Chicago...and you?

Take care...Robin

Very interesting building... not sure what I know what a lens baby is, though. Something that does the blur on the edges?

Where abouts are you in IL? I grew up there myself.

Best wishes,
Dave
