I also don't know why they put no cobble stones in front of the door, Annemette. But I'm doing my best digging and transporting stones - ouch, my back aches, are they heavy! ;-)

I adore green and especially such old magnificent doors. A very picturesque old street. A pity that the old stones are not in front of the door. Why didn´t you dig up the pavement and put stones down there??*LOL* That could be a good project. I´d crop the bottom out.
