And another one taken through the window of the train. Much smudge on the window glass again, but everything seems to be converging to that undefinable dark part at the middle left.

I don't do any PS work other than seldolmy some crop and my typical frames. I am more into the direct approach and so it was natural. Of course if anybody has some idea, suggestion, or any other thing to say about some PS work, I do it afterwards and attach the results, which I consider as some kind of "reverse engineering" for what I should have done better at shooting time with camera settings etc.
I am also very glad that you consider the smudges as some part of the overall atmosphere. I think too that they bind up very well with the rest.
I like the colouring of this shot and the series, Nick, it really catches the theme, whether it's done in PS or it's the natural colour of the lighting. The smudges on the window, I think add to the atmosphere, as well. Dave.
