Hi Joel, thanks for your kind words. The cool thing about this photo is that I just asked them to sit by the door and they sat that way on their own.
I do like the crop that you did. To be honest, the reason I have it this way was so that it would fit in a 6x4 frame as I took it for my brother (of his boys). With my own pics I tend to crop away to my hearts content but its easier for other people to have them in standard sizes so they can just pop them in a frame.

I love the balance! Curious if you tried a more geometric crop? Hope you don't mind, I trimmed a bit off the bottom and top to give it a tight panoramic composition. Curious what you think.
Your tones and details are fantastic! The contrast is spot on!
