Marianne, As to the question about PS skills... Specifically, "Real Work Photoshop" is the best book series that I have found on PS. As to when and where to use the tools in PS, I beleive that PS is based on photographic and art concepts... So, I credit a few art classes (color theory and photography) as well as books on basic visual concepts. Good luck with your studies and enjoy! Sam

Very interesting use of colours on this image. I am studying graphic design at college and we are encouraged to do work like this. Where did you learn your PS skills?
