Yes, this DEFINITELY is a very good entry, dear Phil.. but I was talking of some others, which TO ME, weren't justified.. but anyway, as u said, 'Life is too short to worry about BIPs' !!

LOL !!

cheers ! :)

Congratulations for the POD Phil. I've seen this hard water image before and I thought I had commented on it but now I find I hadn't. This is brilliant. IT reminds of that liquid mercury the dentists used to use for fillings years ago. They used to give me a sample of it to play with in a little glass tube. It has a similar looking silver fluid like effect. Now I read it's FAKE??? Hard to believe. It really does look so real. Great image Phil.

Cheers - Ann :)

Hey Phil, How did you manage to avoid the ice melting?! Well lit as usual, but lacks a little something. Perhaps a non-black background?

Karen, actually it is fake acrylic ice. But thanks for not knowing, that justifies the cost. ;=]

I'm assuming that's real ice. It almost looks like the fake ice commercial photographers use for ads. Our teachers told us about it in school but none of us could afford it at $30 a cube. Nice shot.

Scott,

Yeah see what you mean about the red speck. It is actually the reflection of a craftsman toolbox on the other side of the studio. Thanks for the compliments.

Excelent photo! There's only one part of it that's a bit distracting, there's a little red sliver in one of the cubes, if you could get rid of that it would be perfect.
