About The rooftop terrace of a house remodelled in 1906 by Antoni Gaudi, one of Barcelona's best known architects. The architecture here is nothing short of fantastic, representing the slaying of the dragon by St. George. The dragon's spine is the green and St. George's lance the cross like spire. This building is now a museum to show off Gaudi's work and each floor is a new wonder. The coloured areas are of recycled tiles from this and other buildings, the recylcing an area where Gaudi was way ahead of his time.

Fine composition, Dave. Love that open door, too. Invites you right in to climb the stairs. Great shot!

IU wonder how hard it would have been to photoshop that floor light out? Too bad the museum didn't hide it somehow in a large vase or planter.

Best wishes,
Dave

Extremely unusual architecture Dave!
Certainly not to everyone's taste. I bet there isn't a subdivision full of these out in the suburbs of Barcelona. :)

I LOVE this architecture, Dave!
AWESOME.

My only suggestion would be to slightly crop the bottom, and then clone out the light (like this)

slight crop, clone and noise reduction

Ahhh so this is where you went for those 2 weeks! Looks like you hit the jackpot with Gaudi. Look like it was a real eye opener compared to the ATCO trailer ville of Canada....ha-ha.
Your composition works well and i am sure it wasn't easy to get the feel of what you were perceiving into such a small spectrum lens wise. I also like the warmth of your image, making it very appealing to the eye.
