I simply wish i was there. This is a very simple yet, beautiful shot.Great ambiance. Feel like living there for a while away from all the urban stuff!

I tend to agree. The change in tonalities lends a gentleness to the image's mood.

Rudy,
It is a matter of taste I suppose and perhaps monitor calibration. I like my stuff a bit dark, especially in a shot like this, as you adjust curves one way I might adjust the other to bring attention to the elements of the image and to set the mood I want to convey. To reveal every detail in the image may lead to too many distractions from the story being told.
I appreciate your input…

I think there should be some adjustment in order to bring up some of the detail in the shadows. Otherwise a nice image.

This flows perfectly. Rough textures in a sepia inspired landscape. Lines of the house vs lines of the trees .

Yes sir you have, I got to go home on leave for a few days, right back to my old stomping grounds. I had to try out the new Leica on this one.

Hi Pat! Excellent composition and tones in this shot, and nicely framed by the branches. I think what Michael means is Upper Left Corner. Personally I like that kind of composition for depth and framing of the subject. Dave.

The overall tonality of the image is what makes this a superb photograph. The tone completes the classic look, good thirds postion of the house as well. Well captured & composed Pat & an expensive piece of equipment on your hands.

Great job, I wish there where some balck crows. a very nice perspective where I can see the cottage, road, trees and sky at a very resonable and balanced level. I feel if I was there, and driniking a cup of tea or coffee. wow, it was fantastic. This also gives me a little bit of sad feeling. Where I can feel loneliness, and isolation. my the overal impression is good.
Many thanks Pat.
All the best shots, Ardalan
