Yes, I am anxious. I also ordered a 1.4X Tele. I lamented between thier 100-400 f/4-5.6 IS USM But in the end decided on the 300mm fixed.

Looking forward to seeing some shots from it Pat. Being Canon it should be pretty cool. I've also got the Nikon 70-300 which is good but I wanted the extra focal length for nature shots so went down the Sigma route. Bet you can't wait for it to arrive - I kniow the feeling.
