Amazing, Joggie. That would have to one of your best macros, and that's saying a lot. I love the colours and the way the spider blends into the background. He looks like a line drawing. Sooo cool! Cheers, Ann.

I know that depth of field is seriously limited at this magnification. However, this is not obvious from the photo. The fantastic range must be a trick of composition with several key areas falling into the plane of focus. This work is unsurpassed, Joggie!

Incredible moment captured - unless you are the fly of course. Incredible sharp details and I love that the wings are in such details. Excellent composition that really focuses in on the spiders eyes and unfortunate backside of the fuzzy fly.
Well done! Exxcellent work!

AWESOME clarity . . . AGAIN!!!! Someday you can e-mail with your secret voodoo - soul selling - magic potion brewing - encantations so that I can do something like this with my Nikon 105mm micro!!! I can get the image . . . but the bug just WON'T pose . . . or even be still! The details in the wings and on the spider's legs are amazing. The whole shot is amazing. (You may quote me). :)

Doyle I <~~~~~
