About The steps at 26th St. Beach going down to the beach
I always want to know what you think about this image..I think the sand might be over-exposed ? Such a jump from shade to sun . . . I'm not sure ?
Thanks You for any comments all the time .

ok, I'm getting vertigo looking at this thing!! The details are good, and I actually like the bit of overexposure-- it works well with sepia and B&W, adding a feeling of desolation to the shot. nice composition, Michele.

Hi Michele,

This is a great frame, I liked the way this is cropped, the WB cold have been better at the top, where it ends in sunlight, but that does not take away the unique way you have shot it.

Great work

Dear Michele!

I love the sepia, the composition, the textures, the angle and the fact that the sand is "blown out"...

Naturally this image could be handled in a number of ways... tightly crop, angled etc etc... but I really like it just the way it is! :)

Best Wishes to you!
Aniko :)

Hi Doyle ,

You are really having a good time this morning aren't you ? Well I am glad I could give you some laughs! I am laughing too so you know and Yes the steps really are that steep! Everyone always remarks about the steps being so steep here .. it's a 30 ft. cliff they've got to be steep ! It is a really good workout , ha!

I am glad you saw the 'sideways' image but like I told Ali...it just didn't feel right for me .. I liked the idea and I tried it out . Hey did you ever check out the 'reflections ' mirrored in the river image you suggested I flip ? I did that one too and I really do like it ..It's still up you better read it if you haven't yet.... You'll be laughing again in no time ! LoL

Best Wishes,
Michele~

Hmmmmm . . . Images appearing and disappearing . . . LoL! (Ali did get your message). I liked it, but it's got YOUR name on it and that makes YOU the final say . . . :)

Well . . . the sand here is overexposed . . . but you knew that already! I do like the sepia in this and . . . on a personal note . . . are those steps really THAT steep??? Shheeeeesh. It looks like a workout! :)

Doyle I <~~~~~
