About Number 3 of a series of beach pebbles I took on a small, rocky beach close to home. The beach is known for its perfectly round or elipsoidal pebbles. We had a flood a month before this was taken, which took almost the whole beach away. A month later about 60% of the beach was restored again - by the tides!

Taken late afternoon just before sunset. ISO set at 640 to be able to shoot free-hand. All pictures were taken without interference (no re-arangement!). All photos cropped (slightly)for composition to the same size. This was fun since I had to run in and out the surf to catch the pebbles while wet. Minimal adjustments with PS.

Perfectly captured and what a cool one this is! I love the thought of you running in and out of the tide . . . (been there myself) . . . Then you gotta focus and shoot relatively quickly. Pushing the ISO to 640 was a brilliant idea and you escape the noise that might have developed were it pushed much higher. Great work Joggie!

Doyle I <~~~~~

The red pebble is spetially nice and you surely had to run very fast to capture it so wet. Very nice are also the smaller pebbles that make a colourfull fore and background.
Take care.

Joggie... I do not think anyone could not find your portfolio a joy to view... :)

Slowly working my way through...

This is beautiful, the colours of the stones remarkable... and that one tiny piece against the vibrant red creates it's very own magic... You have a wonderful eye for capturing the natural beauty of this world we inhabit...:)

Onie...
