Thanks Petros,Steve for the encouraging comments. I agree with the idea of cropping the image to eliminate some of the dead space. Actually, in the print that I scanned from, the bottom of the image is much lighter and contains a 'red carpet' like lead into the lit area. It got lost in the scan. (Petros, the photo was taken at a park in Hamilton, Ontario.)
Glen this is an exceptional image! If I were to change anything, it would probably be to crop about 1/4 off the bottom. It works well as the image is, but I think you can sustain the depth, even after you loose a touch of that "dead" space...
Once more, great job! I wish I had taken this... Where is this by the way? Can you share with us more details as to how you achieved this image?
