About A fourfold exposure of the river Reuss in Lucerne (at the "Wave") and the steel protective railing at its banks, for an optical "denonstration" of the power of the water on an abstract.

I hope it's worth posting here.

But Justin, do you have such color alteration when uploading? Perhaps you could tell that to the discussion forum of this site?

Cheers,

Nick

Thank you very much, Justin!

You should recomment and suggest anything, according to your ideas. This is one of the purposes of this forum, at least for me, since this is very good for learning, echanging minds, etc.

However, there has not been any loss of color with this one. It remained as the original. Adding contrast and saturation is not my kind of thing, really, since it makes the image to something very different that what I shot. But if yyou are interested, I can send you the original epr email, and who knows? Perhaos you see soenthing that I donßt see, and you could tell me about it?

Best wishes,

Nick

another strong effort. i don't like to suggest or recommend procedures, but some color loss is the unfortunate result of uploading. i've taken to adding a touch more contrast and saturation to overcome this. however, it's very well done, indeed. j.

Thank you very very much, Andre!

Well, it would be really nice to have the thumbnails larger. But then should it be less thumbs per page or simply longer pages? I would vote for longer pages.

Anyway, your assumption about the reasons for passing over might be true for many users. But perhaps there also many people who simply don't find such photos interesting? I have the impression that this forum has a strong tendency for "nice flowers" and "cute faces", so I think that most users are not very interested for other kinds of photography, but I might as well be completely wrong.

Thanks again and many greetings

Nick

A beautiful pattern abstract Nick!

If only more people would take the time to open up the thumbnails to see this as meant to be seen.
I wish the thumbnails were three times larger, because I'm sure a lot of us pass over this sort of thing because of not showing so well in small size.
