Thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment, Kiarang, and even more for your good advices. Today I do exactly what you say many times, which is quite the opposite of what I did some years ago, when I was taking these images. I guess that a more focused image would be better in this case too.
Oh,and as about the place, unfortunately I don't live there in Florence but in Lucerne/Switzerland. A nice city too, but I wish I could spens some months each year in Florence. And some in Barcelona, and some in Schiraz, and in Kavala - many too many interesting places, ey? ;-)

the composition gives us a lot of different information; gives us some things about culture, about daylife, even atmosphere, and also gives us some visual elements about the Architecture of the location that photographer lives. technically close F-stop needs for such a perspective like this to have perfect and long focusing on all details of this subject.
