About My 8yo Daughter whilst we were out and about yesterday in Melbourne city. I tried to rein in the blown highlights on her white shirt as best as possible in PS. worked reasonably well as the print you are able to see the texture nicely. all comments welcomed

I understand your dilemma Jason, catch 'em when you can!!
This is a beautiful, natural portrait and I just love the bright expression on her gorgeous face. I don't find the background too distracting, as there are no other people and it is all architecture. Would not have worked as well in colour.
Was this down at Docklands?
cheers, Bek

I agree Daniel, i was set up on AV for a challenge i was doing for a comp at work, that post will be next up, and Bella can be arkward arond the camera so i had to get what i could when i could. thanks for taking the time to look and comment it is very appreciated

Great exposure on the black and white photo. I love her expression.

I think you should have use about F3 for a portrait to remove some of the distracting background though
