Long time away without looking. Nice to see your still capturing some great scenes. Nice to see you got a BIP award, well done.

Hi Gabriela,
Thanks for the comments. Yes it was one leaf probably about 2 feet wide. I was in Costa Rica and there are some amazing sites to see there. As for the butterfly pictures most of them were taken at a butterfly exhibit indoors so it wasn't too hard to go chasing after all of them :)

The texture of the mountain rock is amazing, as if painted. And this huge leaf on the left....is it one leaf???Love the tonality surrounding the lake.

Wow, that is just something. What strange colors, plants and rocks. Is this a real view of this or enhanced? I can't believe the color of that water, just amazing.
And here Costa Rica was on my travel plans had the election gone the other way.

Hi Yamil,
I just took a quick look at your profile and noticed that you were from Costa Rica. I just got back from working two months in San Jose(Escazu). Unfortunately it was a business trip and I didn't bring my 20D with me so my pictures are limited. I will post a few more that turned out well. I visted both Arenal and Poas. Beautiful places. Was able to see the lava at Arenal.

Wow... this looks unreal! What a magnificent view. The colours are superb. Went down to Rotorua some weeks back to check out the geothermal parklands there, and couldn't get over all the incredible colours of the sulphur lakes. You got the green spot on here. Breathtaking and the best of the series in my opinion. :)
