thanks, doyle! i know i need to get a tripod. leaning against the swingset doesn't cut it. you're right, it was handheld. at the time, i was wishing for a tripod QUICKLY!! since the moon was changing and moving and clouds were coming in. i sure appreciate your advice and hints and kind words. :)

.....Ummmmm . . . the thing is . . . this is a good shot and one to enjoy too. But (IMO) you had a tremendous shot in that first attachment! Scenic . . . awesome . . . beautiful!
The posted shot is a tad soft and I'm betting this was done handheld. For the sharper clarity you can get with that equipment, you'll likely need to tripod it . . . Since you CAN do better . . . (IMO) you should! ;) With the silhouetted treetops - a sharper focus and a drop in exposure would knock this shot out of the park.
That being said . . . it's still a lovely image and I've been impressed with the quality work you've gotten posted. Very nice and 6/7! :)

WOW!! Again jessie you can really zoom in on that gorgeous moon !! I too like the attached moon shot ! It's lighting up the sky as much as the sun is here in stormy Oregon lately !!!

A wonderful simplistic composition with an excellent feeling of peacefulness. I love the fringe of silhouetted treetops and the overall toning of the shot. Well done to you sweetie. BTW I love the attachment as well, good shooting dear Jessie......Cheers and best wishes....Ray;)
