Thank you Mary. At every 92 minutes, I had plenty of "set-up" time but still managed to overstudy this shot! Years ago a golf buddy( upon painfully watching me sizing up a putt), uttered those now appreciable words "study long, study wrong"! -john

Wonderful sight- and to have a natural silhouette frame is brilliant.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate the assistance. This shot needed some special consideration, both compositionally and technically. The problem I immediately saw was the framing relative to the geyser perspective. By squaring the window framing, the angle of the geyser spout was unbalanced. The more I obsessed about it, the worse it got, til' finally I just threw it out there. Fortunately you helped me out on the technical issue of white level balance, I knew this was the shot as soon as I walked into the lobby. -john

Wow, I LOVE this shot. What a wonderfully framed moment! I do wonder if your white levels are high enough, though. (here's boosted white levels, and lowered black levels for comparison)
