Wonderful fall scene, Dave! There are so many neat elements - foreground detail, perspective, colour, tonal range. Some cloud details would be slightly overexposed but the shadow detail is fine!

I love the choice of a vertical format Dave for this truely beautiful Autumnal nature/landscape composition. The colours are gorgeous with richness to the sky and pastel like tones in the trees and water. I love that rippling reflection in the river and the details in the golden yellows of the tall trees. A wonderful balanced study with the dappled sunlight creating interest with light and shadow. Well done to you my friend. Our Autumnal colours are still pretty boring so I am quite envious. How idyllic. The colors are great. Those of the reflections look wonderfully Impressionist. The only small point that bothers me, and it happens a lot with my sky shots (and I'm never sure what to do about it), are the dark purplish greys on the undersides of the clouds. If those could be lightened a bit and the bluish element removed or nearly removed, I think the photo would be perfect. Nice work, Dave.

Very nice, especially the sky colours reflecting in the water and contrasting against the beautiful fall folliage. Great shot. As far as critique, I may have moved the horizon slightly up or down to be more in line with the rule of thirds and try to increase exposure on the darker areas but these are two very minor things.
