Beautiful tones. I might have used less foreground and more sky, but that's purely personal thing.

I liked this the first time I saw it - and I still do. Great photo!
(Are we all leaving the sinking photoSIG for this place? lol).

Well executed B&W. Wonderfull capture of tonality. I do think though that the composition could be a little less static. Perhaps closer to the power station's cooling towers (though I realise you would be restricted as to how close).

Hey Stephen, looks like we all moved over here. Good to be able to follow your interesting work. I have a faint recollection to having seen this elsewhere, but I'm not sure. I will only post new stuff here to avoid confusion. As always, I like your stark compositions.

Hello Stephen,
First at all surely this is a fabolous work. At one point of eye, we see a great composition.
The way the smoke comes in the the sky and mixes with the clouds is your key on this picture thru the door of "amazing composition".
Black&White is a great selection, and on such vivid environment it has to be really hard to accomplish such work. This pictures deserve the rate "excellent".
On the other hand, what could be done better ? %40 land and %60 sky work seems questionable a little, but the point where the monument ends is the middle of the picture. Surely the fabrique belongs to the land.
Only thing that comes to my head is to move towards this smoke and get a closer shot. A high-line perspective work, or at least cutting that right side by %20 and adding the unseen at the left. Why ? Because we see trees and maybe a forest in the left side ? But the right side is emptiness ...
After all, I congragulate you for your brave and intelligent shot.
Kind Regards; Onur Aydin
