About This image (6208) was shot in Discovery Park on 28 April 2006.

The forked brown thing on the right is a tree trunk. The green is foliage.

This luxagraphically shot image has been shrunk and resized. I also ran auto-levels to slightly correct the clarity of the colors. No other PS work has been done.

I look forward to your questions and comments.

Ian - Yes, that's exactly what contributes the differing sizes of brush strokes.

Again the depth (from the shallow dof) is really satisfying here.

Ana - Thanks for you comments. I will try using the levels adjustments manually, see what I can do. I usually test the auto-whatever to see if it's satisfactory--when it's not I open the manual tool (levels, color, brt/con).

Amauri - Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy my style. Are you writing in Portuguese or perhaps Romanian?

it's no doubt the most interesting tree trunk i've seen for a long time...the whole luxagraphic effect is very pleasing as usual...good work James ;)

Hanna - Yeah, it sure looks like that. Actually I was walking along just fine. I don't recall exactly what the scene of this shooting was, but I'm guessing the lower fork of the y was a branch pointing towards where I was standing while shooting. Thanks for taking a look and commenting.
