I know the feeling, busy or wiped out and here comes another chance. Do I gear up and go out or wait. Heck, I always go.
Nice job here, I really like the silhouette of the building, too. This is not easy photography as I'm sure you know. I have hundreds of shots, most useless.
Best wishes, Dave

My monitor here at work is a bit darker too. My laptop shows the grass too clearly for my taste. I do like the idea of keeping the structures. No matter. It's still great.

hi Jay,
Very powerful photo, well captured. I love to get my hands on a thunderstorm moment at night, but I usually sleep right through them. Good catch!
Cheers,
Hugo

James Cook,
Thanks for your response, I did not realize that my monitor brightness is a little too dark. Darn!
Then again... I like the Silos being slightly lit up by the lightnings. It's a tough call...
Fully silhouette the ground or not...
I would like others to comment on this.
Thanks

I like the effect of the closest clouds. I would probably reduce the exposure on the landscape a bit more to take it closer to silhouette. Great shot. Worth a little postponed sleep.
