Hi Linda , thank you for your time to give me your comments and suggestions. I too agree with Doyle and I can work on this tonight now ! I just got re-connected ..I moved on Wed. so was accessing thru others computers to even view your image ! Congratualations on POD too !!! I am no longer in Fl. I am on the Oregon coast now Brrrrr! I think PR sounds much better to me ! My family is here and I need to be with them now.

I really like this image Michele, very creative, and what an awesome shadow, I can see why you were attracted to it. I think Doyle makes some good suggestions too...I wanted to get rid of the black shadow line to the right because it definitely calls attention away from your beautiful set up. The subtle shades of gray and burgandy are really lovely and complement this beautiful still life. I read in your bio that you are enjoying Florida, it's a great place, I lived there for 17 years and it still holds a big place in my heart. I do travel between here (PR) and there...very nice work!! :)

Like it a lot Michele (no, not the wine--your shot! Oh, ok--both!) . . . and find it a very interesting find. I'm not sure the panoramic format is best for this study though and I think it might have had more impact if you had done one thing (just my opinion, mind you). . . . Except in extremely rare cases the centered subject is a static shot. Your want your images to be more dynamic. So I would definitely crop it down. I would try to take it off center and lose anything distracting during the crop choice.

Hi Ana, You are right ... I was looking at it abstractly..but when you point this out it is true. I see danger as well. Maybe it's the unbalenced sharpness of the shadow and the color of the wine ?
