Just got my new Fender in this morning and thought I'd do a little self-portrait session with her. Didn't get too many super images, but this one was a keeper with some fun stuff done in post. I like it. ;-)
That's a great question, Robin! I don't know. Suppposedly all boats are female, but I've never heard one way or the other about instruments. I have always referred to my instruments in the feminine...my piano? She's gorgeous. My trombone? She's a loud one. My guitars? Beautiful girls. Maybe just personal preference. I've always kind of viewed making music as a slightly sensual experience...you know, very personal...so that must be why I give my intstruments female personas.
Thanks, Paul! I'm glad someone got my little pun! Yeah, I'm trying to balance my "free" time between playing the guitar, playing the piano, shooting photography, and trying to learn the harmonica!
