I can hear the silence in this quiet pool, almost like in a story book . I don't think I could choose what country has more beauty as they all have their own . Canada reminds me the most of the US tho I think.

Thanks Shirley! I do see what you mean about using a telephoto to capture water details because you are able to create such interesting combinations with such raw material.

Eb - This nice photo has many things evoking my comments:
1. Contrast is well "balanced", given the amount of sunlight and shadow.
2. I assume that the polarizer was on - in order to get water colors without reflections.
3. Sidelighting really gives a real range on green coloring (moss on the right hand side of the right center tree).
Really nice.

My favorite of the three, Eb. This is the kind of place that makes my heart beat faster! I would have my 400mm out, taking detail shots of the water, too.
