I fully agree with you Pat! Here some of the intensity is also due to the curves adjustment. I would still want to play around with this one!

Eb - f/45? Never seen his aperture setting. An amazing micro shot where virtually everything is sharp. Not a criticism....but I think the colors and contrast would have been more vivid if the flash were less intense (kind of a shine on the petals). Nicely captured.
