About	Taken at a local toy museum - I have added some soft blur in Photoshop to give it a dreamy feel - that was the intention anyway! It was a slide and was scanned into photoshop via an Epson 2400 scanner.

Thanks for your kind comments Betsy. From your Portfolio comments I imagine you are a very good Photoshop worker yourself. I agree with you - it is great fun and I enjoy using the programme a lot - the more I use it the more I realise its potential. I used to be a keen black and white worker but now I do a lot of colour work and really enjoy it. Just bought a Nikon 5700 so I will be taking lots more shots in the future. Ireland is lovely isn't it? We went over last year - and next month we are off to North wales - another very photographic place. Have fun!

I think this is lovely. It retains just enough of the original photo to give it a touch of reality but you've also managed to give it an artistic "painterly" quality. This was a perfect subject for the mystical, dreamy look you gave it -- a step back in time to one's childhood prompted by the discovery of some old toys in the attic. Nicely done.
