Yes, Canadians know the definition of the word "cold". I consider warm to be in the 20s. The southern parts of Canada can get into the high 30s in the summer, but that's a bit too warm for me.

The game was bordering on ugly score-wise, but I am hoping for something similar when they play the All-Blacks this weekend.

All the best,
Ed

I can't even begin to imagine what -30 would be like! I don't know how humans live when they have to deal with temps like that! I'm glad it is summer for you now. What do you consider warm?

Thank you for the kind compliment. I think Sean actually has a better eye than I do. That's evolution for you. Thank you for taking the time to look at his shots too.

ciao A (oh & your luck obviosly worked re. the "Boks" )

No by Canadian standards -3 barely rates as cold. In some areas, -30 is an average winter day. Thankfully we are now in our summer and it is nice and warm.

Thank you for the clarification. Good to see him getting started early. I have already passed on my compliments on some of his shots and with such a talented Mom he is sure to continue improving.

Again good luck against the "Boks" this weekend.

All the best,
Ed

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your comments.
It certainly was cold, I think around -3 ( though by Canadian standards that probably doesn't rate!)
Sean & I had just watched the World Cup final. Sean is my teenage son, who has just discovered his interest in photography.

ciao A

Great shot Angela.

I think the limited colours really work well in giving a sense of low temperature in a wonderful image of a cold winter morning.

I just noticed the similarities in name and location between you and Sean, is he your little brother?

All the best,
Ed
