About Here in Italy these kind of cactus can blossom only at home or in a greenhouse, in warm and protected places.

The sun was back, lights and colours are all as in nature.

You get amazing light on your flowers, makes them almost translucent.
You are an artist.

Wonderful composition, Giuseppe! A study in silk, as the petals look like they have been made of silk! The lighting is great, too!

Hi Giuseppi! I am talking about whether the light is mainly transmitted through the petals or reflected from the surface. In this photo the petals have a translucent feel (transmitted light,) but the light is actually reflected from the petals when I study it closely.

Thanks Jim. I am glad you like this photo. May be your wife don't have this flower in her garden.
I have admired nice new entries in your place.

Beautiful subtle tones, Giuseppi! I like the translucent feel you are getting, although I think the light is reflected. Nice!

Grazie e buona notte.

Giuseppe
