The dry grassy are in the foreground and the trees are well balanced. Love the big dramatic sky and lighting.

I would kick myself without any problem if I capture such a great shot afterwards... ;-D Super sky, wonderful colors, nice variation in the background, the foreground could maybe do with a little crop (well you know I love to 'snip'... ;-D), good composition... well captured!!

I don't at that distance, that f-stop really matters Rob (does it?) It's my understanding that depth-of-field is a variable that grows longer (deeper) as you get farther from the lens. After 50-odd feet, it's not going to matter at all.
as for this photo...SCORE! I am quite impressed with the contrast and exposure range, especially the rich orange and blues right next to each other.

wonderful contrast between the busy, dramatic sky and the vacant foreground. The cury tree line adds interest for your eye to follow also.

I think program modes done pretty well here Rob :) Colours and exposure are excellent through out. When I have time I will shoot using Adep, TV and P modes on my 20D just to see how they compare when I get home. Some occasions, the P mode and Adep work out better than using TV.
