A beautiful scene Rob. Lots of elements of interest here. The sky is nice and dramatic here with the clouds but in this case I think a plain blue sky would have been more of a compliment to add more colour but we can't control the weather unfortunately. I love the splashes of colour in the foreground reflection and the way the delicate sheet of ice catches the specks light is a nice subtle bonus for the eye. The smooth snow has lovley form taking my eyes right up to the mountain and the side hills make for a lolvey frame. I like this very much. Well seen and captured.
Thank you also for your comment on my Still Blue image. If you do get to the Mammoth area go the June Lakes area south of Mammoth as there are many lakes and mountain reflections to be seen there. Very scenic.

well rob.. also today in my country the snow is arrived.. in the ìnorth italy, but also in all rst of part of italy!!
have captured a nuatral "v", with snow in a perfect "white" exposure.. i like it
really wel done
