Try spraying the pole with non-stick cooking spray (like Pam). Then sit back and watch the fun!

Another stellar photo Todd. The colors in the blurred background really highlight your furry friend. Let me guess...he's on his way to raid a bird feeder?? I can't keep them out of mine, but I really don't mind. After all they gotta eat too. Bill

I really like this capture. He seems to have that "uh oh" expression on his face. Great clarity and use of depth of field. The backlighting gives him a bit of an angelic look, saying "houw can you be mad at me?"
Very well done.
