Richard, Other than the slight blow out on the right side of the hair, I think this is an excellent image of a beautiful child!! The expression you captured is wonderful. I'm a HUGE fan of catchlights and the use of natural light...both of which you certainly captured well here. Great job!!
Terrific capture of beautiful expression, with wonderful tones and light on the face and most of the hair... I would however go for a tighter crop on the right (just to the edge of the cheek) and top (almost halway into the hair), to eliminate most of the blown out hair highlights, and really zero in on the exquisite expression... The clarity is definitely there to handle a close crop, and I think it would send this image to the top of the charts... Excellent work!
