Beautiful portrait and good title, I see your modest humour on it. Thanks.

Harsh light...the model's unusual beauty ( and I really mean this)... the tight focusing on her eye... strong angles and intense skin texture. Like all of your portraits, this one is not just to be looked as a pleasant image and then forgoten. I hope to see more of your work. Thanks for your comments on my " Wicked" and "The way out is closed". I believe that "dark side " portfolio is starting a major shift in the way I see this hobby. Regards, Fabio

Wonderful angle. I love how the catchlight leaps from the shaded eye.

Hi Lubi,
I think the (unexpected) confronting look is a great change in appraoch. Eventhough the tone and style is still very consistent with the previous ones, I like the sudden viewer involvement; it creates a very strong eye catcher (no pun intended).
In the division of the frame and composition, I think panning down would probably result in a bit more balanced overview; (If I manage to break away from the eye contact) I think the black on top of the image is a bit too much compared to the more elaborate array of contrasts in the lower part.
Very good style, captivating!
Cheers,
Hugo

Good title! Very harsh light makes for a stark and striking image. Focus is good and tight on the eye, I love the hint of the other eye being there, not your usual portrait, but it works for me.
